The jury is wearing jeans! The scuttlebutt raced like a battlefront bulletin Tuesday through the five dozen prosecutors, defense attorneys and reporters camped in the federal courthouse awaiting a verdict in the perjury trial of ex-White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby.

LOS ANGELES — Thanks to a more than $1 million donation from a gay male couple who hope one day to marry in California, the University of California, Los Angeles’ law school is planning to establish what is described as the nation’s first endowed academic chair in sexual orientation law.
