Joint Ways and Means chairs cut back funding to community colleges

The 2008-09 budget released last week by co-chairs of the Joint Ways and Means Committee of the Oregon legislature would effectively prevent Oregon’s community colleges from providing the skilled workforce necessary to stabilize Oregon’s economy.
